that involves injecting your own scalp into the scalp to regrow hair. well certainly, i can help you what this is about and helpyou make some distinctions. i created a hair loss treatment called hairregeneration. i am a founder of a company called trichostem hair regeneration so i cancertainly give you a perspective about hair loss and the use of blood product. first mostlikely, i would say, what is being described to you is something called prp or platelet-richplasma. platelet-rich plasma is derived from your own blood and even though it has manybenefits. i’m also a board certified cosmetic surgeon and i’ve been practicing for over20 years, i used this platelet-rich plasma in a lot of things i do. and we’ve usedit in the past in terms of hair loss in aiding
the transplant procedure. but when we’veused it alone for hair regrowth, it has always had a limited benefit. a lot of people arevocal about its benefits. there are colleagues in the hair loss specialty who really advocateit. but the problem with platelet-rich plasma is that it does not stop hair thinning. itcan cause limited growth but it will not stop hair thinning. what we’ve developed is a method of combiningthis platelet-rich plasma with acellular matrix. acellular matrix is used for wound healing.and what we’ve developed and how we developed with trichostem hair regeneration is a formulaand a method of delivery based on a customized development that is specific for every typeof hair loss that we see. this includes variations
